Listen to the captivating tales of Liverpool's history through the ages from the miserable Medieval period to the Victorians in all their contrasts. See for yourself the stunning architecture and secret streets of Liverpool’s Commercial District.

Witness the city seascape that inspired Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick. Delve into the clandestine corners that housed America’s secret head quarters during the civil war. Listen to the tales of slavery, plague, cholera and the filthy slums that so many poor souls found to be their final resting place.Tour length: 1.5 hours

Please note that you can bring your own torch if you wish. The underground location is not open to the public and so you enter at your own risk. We would not recommend this tour for those not firm on their feet, are visually impaired or have a delicate disposition.
